Chapter 4: Sponsored Cycle

Good Morning you lot,

It's Currently 7am, and today I am taking part in a sponsored cycle to raise money for the Syrian Refugees. Throughout today I will be adding to this post in a kind of countdown fashion.

*9 HOURS TO GO*

Right now, I'm feeling fine...not even out of bed yet, and I've got a whole school day before I even need to think about getting on the bike.

*7.5 HOURS TO GO*

Arrived at school, 6th form is buzzing with 'excitement' for the big cycle, starting to kick in now that this IS something that we HAVE to do...Yay

*6 HOURS TO GO*

Feeling alright right now, but there is still a lot of day to go. Am looking forward to it though, BRING IT ON!

*4.5 HOURS TO GO*

Wow, that came quickly...now I'm getting worried...I don't even like cycling, but oh well, anything for charity.

*3 HOURS TO GO*

BLEUGH! Too soon, too soon.

Bikes Are Ready!

*30 MINUTES TO GO*

Here we go, all set up....LETS DO THIS!

*IT HAS BEGUN*

And We're off
I survived my first 20 minutes, going to post this now so go to Twitter @dysonHamer or @CowesEC to see it being live tweeted.

Love you all,
Mitch xx

Chapter 3: Happiness

Hello again,

This week on YouTube, Carrie, Tom & Gi were discussing what makes them happy so I have responded, albeit a small quick reply due to a lack of time for a proper long video, so I thought, as well as posting a link to the video here, I would also write in a bit more depth here.

So, here is the video:

and here is the post in depth:

Being a happy person myself, happiness is one of my favourite things, I like to spread it to everyone I come into contact with and sometimes I try a little too hard to make others happy.

But what makes me happy

1) My Friends.
Friends are always a great group of people to have around, unlike family, they've chosen to get to know you and therefore you find that they can sometimes understand you better for it. My friends always know how to make me happy, not that they need to often.

2) My Family.
Family are the only people who are kind of forced to know and like you, therefore, they know when you are sad and when you need to be cheered up...one member of my family who never fails to cheer me up is my Uncle Pete, another crazy individual...in some ways, my inspiration to be different.

3) Food.
Those of you that know me, know that I like to eat, eating helps me think, calm down, relax, cheer up, get ready and it helps me to keep going...so as you can imagine, I eat quite a lot, but I never eat without analysing it afterwards and deciding what I could do to improve it...so it's not a pointless activity, who knows, I may end up as a food critic, I've thought about it before.

4) TV.
As I've mentioned before, watching TV is a passion of mine, I love it. It's one of the few things in my life that I'm scheduled with, I live by TV which I think is acceptable, bearing in mind my desired line of work.

5) Other Peoples Happiness.
Other people being happy is quite possibly one of the biggest things that makes me happy. Sometimes it just takes being around happy people to make you happy which is why you rarely see me sad.

6) Acting & Theatre.
These two were separate in the video but it makes more sense to group them now. Acting is another of my passions and i do it on a regular basis with other amazing actors, whether it be with those in my Performing Arts/Drama class or with the IWSC or just anyone in general, its a great atmosphere to be around with people who share interests with you. As for Theatre...What isn't to love about theatre.

7) Music.
For someone who didn't really listen to music until I was about 13, it's surprising how much I love it. I listen to it on my way to and from almost anywhere and even find myself just sitting in my bedroom listening to it in my earphones. It had a huge impact on the way I walk to the point that I can't walk somewhere without listening to it, which wouldn't have even crossed my mind 4 years ago.

8) Films.
I rarely watch films because I don't have enough free time to just sit down and watch them to a point that I still have 9 films to watch from last Christmas, however, when I do watch films it does always make me happy.

9) Photographs.
For me, photographs don't have to be high quality, they just need to depict a memory vividly enough that when you look at them, you can instantly remember the day it happened in such detail...Just looking around my room, you will see a whole host of photographs that mean something to me, there is also one of Jon Snow from Channel 4 but we won't go into that right now.

10) The Internet.
The internet is an incredible thing, these days you can do pretty much anything on the internet which is why it's a happy place to be...if you're sad, you can find things that cheer you up...but personally, it allows me to connect with friends through Facebook, celebrities through twitter and you guys through YouTube and this blog, nothing can beat that...the internet is the world, in my pocket.

So, that's what makes me happy in more detail, probably what i would've said in more detail in my video if I had the time to.

Until Next time,
Stay Happy,
Mitch xx

Chapter 2: 6th Form

Hello again you guys,

I am currently 1 of 2 people in the common room right now enjoying a free period, I have quite a few of these on Wednesdays, so I thought, as I've got some free time right now, I'll write about 6th Form.

6th form is a great place, you feel so grown up yet you are having such a fun time.

Firstly, the common room, right now, it's a very quiet place...but it really comes to life during break and lunch or when lots of people are on free periods. There'll be chats from about 3 friendship groups going on at once, a card game of some description, whether it be Uno (a popular choice) or something as basic as snap, it really gives a sense of enjoyment to what once was 'That boring school that you had to go to everyday'.

Our Kitchen Area
If you're not talking or playing cards, chances are, you'll be making food in our little kitchen area...The kettles provide perfect facilities for pot noodles, or cups of tea and the microwave has cooked a whole host of different microwavable meals and snacks, from porridge, to curry, to pasta to burgers.

The Mug Store
Our fridge is currently home to a box of cornflakes, some frankfurters, a jar of homemade jam and all sorts of other supplies...and the worktop holds jars of coffee, hot chocolate powder and roughly 460 teabags, our mug store is home to 40+ mugs so as you can tell, we enjoy a good hot beverage.

As for 'uniform', as long as you look remotely smart, it's fine...my everyday outfit is a pair of black suede style shoes, a pair of black jeans, either a fun t-shirt or a smart shirt (today I'm wearing a blue t-shirt that is printed with the words 'This is what awesome looks like') and I finish it off with a badge-clad grey blazer.

For subjects, everything seems so relaxed and grown up...I'll start with geography, any lesson that allows you to take along a cup of tea is a good lesson, we even repay the favour by taking one for our teacher too.

*I'll continue this when I return from my drama lesson which is starting now-ish*

Ok back from Drama, where was I, yes, subjects...You're treated so much better and everything is so much enjoyable because you are doing the subjects you want to do, the ones you have a passion for which is so much better than having those few subjects that you can't stand at least once a day.

And free periods, like these ones, are lovely, you get time to study and do homework and just relax...On Wednesdays I have one lesson out of a possible 6, which lends itself to almost too much free time.

Anyway, that is about all I've got to say about 6th form so I'm going to go and have a Sweet & Sour pot noodle.
Our Friendship Group
From Bottom Left:

Goodbye, see you next time
Lots of Love,

Chapter 1: The First One!

Hello my lovelies,

Welcome to whatever this is.

Allow me to answer a few questions about myself for you.

Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Mitch, I'm 16 and I am currently studying drama, media and geography at Cowes Enterprise College and I am arguably the happiest, craziest and most enthusiastic person that has ever existed.

What do I do to make money?
I am currently unemployed although I have just left a job that I loved in the kitchen of a great place called The Harbour Kitchen on Cowes High Street (I highly recommend eating there, it's awesome).

What do I like to do?
My two largest passions are Acting and Watching TV, I am part of an acting group called the Isle Of Wight Shakespeare Company and I am currently in rehearsals for my fifth play with them, As You Like It. As I mentioned before, I also love watching TV, I like to call it market research and I think it's perfectly fine that I have a detailed schedule of what to watch and when it is on. You may also be aware that I have a little youtube channel where I upload little fun videos that range from Vlogs, to Challenges, to Sit down conversations mostly directed towards Tom Fletcher from McFly, His sister Carrie Hope Fletcher and his wife Giovanna Fletcher
.

What do I want to do?
You'll be surprised to hear that what I'd like to do in the future is be an actor and TV presenter or a drama teacher.

So, What is this?
This is a way to give my little collection of subscribers a bit more of me as well as being something that I need to do for my Media course...hey, why not kill two birds with one stone. In terms of content...Who knows...Much like my YouTube channel you could find all sorts here...there could be Strong opinions, rants, poetry, creative writing, video updates, posts about videos, early access to videos occasionally, song lyrics that I've written and probably lots of generic Blog thingys, I'll even take suggestions if you give them to me.

This is Me...At Privet Drive
So again, Welcome to whatever this is.
Talk to you soon,
With Love...Mitch x
